To exist means to be real or to be there in some way. Everything around you—the chair you're sitting on, the air you breathe, and even ideas like love or justice—exists in some form. It is a basic idea; without it, nothing truly is.

We often talk about things existing in something else: dreams exist in our minds, and bacteria exist on surfaces. Sometimes we question whether something truly exists, such as mythical creatures or the perfect pizza topping. For something to be thought of as real, it must exist, even if only as an idea.
