Description

"Easy" describes something you can do without much effort or trouble. It is the opposite of hard. A child might find tying their shoes hard at first, but after some practice, it becomes easy. The word can also describe a calm, relaxed person. An "easygoing" person is pleasant to be around and does not make things difficult. You might say a puzzle was easy, or that talking with a close friend feels easy because you are comfortable with them. If something looks too easy, though, there may be more to it than you first thought.
