US

Description

A surfboard is the long board a person uses to ride waves. It is made for balance, speed, and smooth movement across the water. People usually use it in the ocean, but it can also be used on rivers or in wave pools. Older ones were often made from wood, while modern ones are usually made from foam, fiberglass, and resin.

For many people, it is more than sports equipment. It is closely linked with beach life, surfing culture, and the feeling of moving with the power of the water.
