Replicating this in English is a challenge because English verse often leans toward iambic rhythms (da-DUM). However, some poets have captured the style well. While many mistakenly associate it with Lord Byron, the most famous example of sustained English hexameter is actually Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's Evangeline.
