Description

This is a fast, physical team game played with an oval ball. It began in England and is known for hard tackles, constant movement, and strong teamwork. Players move the ball forward by running with it or kicking it, but they cannot throw it forward with their hands. The two main forms are Rugby Union and Rugby League. One of its best-known sights is the scrum, where players pack tightly together and fight to win the ball.
