The word "manage" is a flexible everyday word. At its heart, it means being in control of something, being responsible for it, or dealing with it in a capable way. You might manage a business, a shop, a class, a project, or a household. In those cases, the idea is that you organize things, make decisions, solve problems, and help everything keep moving.
