Description

Wednesday is the day that comes after Tuesday and before Thursday. In a normal seven-day week, it is the fourth day. Many people see it as the middle of the workweek, so it is often called "hump day" because the weekend starts to feel closer. You might hear sentences like, "Let's meet on Wednesday," or "I usually feel busy on Wednesday afternoons." It is most often used simply as the name of the day.
