Description

Imagine pouring sugar into your tea. If you want it uniformly sweet, the sweetness needs to spread evenly through the whole cup, so you stir. "Uniformly" describes something happening or being done in the same way across a place, group, or set of things, with little or no difference. A wall might be painted uniformly, with the color spread evenly from edge to edge. A teacher might grade papers uniformly, using the same standards for each student.
