Description

Imagine your computer as a city. The motherboard is the central highway system: it's the main printed circuit board inside the computer, and everything else plugs into it. It's where the CPU (the brain), RAM (short-term memory), storage drives, and graphics card connect and communicate. Without a working motherboard, your computer usually will not turn on or work properly. Think of it as the foundation that the whole system is built on. You might hear people talk about "upgrading their motherboard" to support faster processors or newer features.
