Description

A grader is often someone who checks work and gives it a score, especially in school. A teacher, assistant, or computer system can be the one doing this job. The word is also used for a machine that sorts things by size or quality, or for a road machine that levels the ground. In school talk, you will also see it in words like "first-grader" or "tenth-grader," meaning a student in that year at school.
